Discarding an ECD without the assistance of an authorized licensee is strictly prohibited.
CJ Bruyn & Co. is authorized to provide Relinquish of Ownership Documentation to keep on file with your company inventory records.
Fill out the Relinquish Document Request and follow the packing instructions. We recommend you send in the ECD, housing and heater blocks, as these are possibly contaminated.

Transfer of Ownership may occur only with the assistance of a Specific License company authorized to do so. Transfers direct from one General Licensee to another is strictly forbidden. CJ Bruyn & Co. has a Specific License giving us authorization to service and distribute all brands of ECDs. Regulations require that the old or prior owner would ship the ECD to CJ Bruyn & Co., where we will document the transfer and perform the evaluation and leak-test. We would then send the ECD to the New Owner. Both the New owner and Prior Owner, as well as the Radiation Authorities will receive a copy of the documentation and Certificate of Leak-test.
It is important to stay compliant. Hefty fines can result from the failure to follow the regulations. If you have received an ECD without the proper documentation contact CJ Bruyn & Co. and we will assist in the Transfer of Ownership.
